Job Hunting is a great task, it not only builds character but can take you through of the emotions, it's like PMS only it lasts until you find a job. I found myself without a job after I quit my job that had babied me through high school and beyond and left to go to college. I found that it was difficult to say the least. I went on job-hunting websites, walked all over campus and went to every store and resturant available. My feet hurt, my "nice" interview clothes are gross and I really want to work! I have just completed my task and have found a job. This is extremely exciting because I have left the awful ranks of the unemployed and now find myself entering the paradise of job security. My place of work will now be refered to as Paradise, it's a pizza joint and I don't know much else about it but it is in the paradise of job security, so who cares? In fact my creative side took over and ba-da-bing ba-da-boom here's a haiku.
searching, searching, stop
fake grins hurt me and you
job found, happiness
Yes, it touches my heart, too. The best part about having this job is that instead of being one of the losers who lives off their parents until they're 50. I will be able to pay for college by myself. This is something that I find extremely important, mainly because I do have siblings and they might need more help and I really don't want to be a burden to my parents forever. Well so long and farewell but come back to continue the adventures of Oddball in Paradise!
